MAPE Governor’s Awards
Schools and businesses throughout Mississippi will be honored for their partnerships during the 2017 Governor’s Awards Luncheon.
The Mississippi Association of Partners in Education is hosting the event from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 1 in the Wellington Ballroom at the Hilton Hotel in Jackson. The luncheon is part of the Mississippi Education Partnership Conference presented by MAPE, Mississippi Association for Middle Level Education, and Program of Research and Evaluation for Public Schools, Inc.
“School and business partnerships are always mutually beneficial,” said Phil Hardwick, MAPE board president. “It supports schools, it helps businesses and ultimately, it benefits entire communities.”
Winners will be recognized at the luncheon, but there will be an earlier conference session from 9-10:15 a.m. that day in Salon A where award recipients may be interviewed.
