    Book sale at the Quisenberry Library Friday and Saturday, Dec 2 & 3,10 AM to 4 PM.  Good time to get some Christmas gifts or just good reads to enjoy by the light of the Christmas tree.

    Also stop and enjoy the 46 lovely Christmas trees and even have some refreshments at the gala, Dec.3.  Santa will be in residence for photo ops.

    Raymond Christmas Parade and Lighting of the Tree

    Our local Raymond Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to attend the annual Raymond Christmas Parade and Lighting of the Tree on the Square Tuesday, December 6th beginning at 5:30pm. Among the parade participants will be the Hinds Community College Marching Band and the Hinds Community College High Steppers.  It’s sure to be a real treat!  The parade route will start on Main Street at Raymond Elementary, turn on Port Gibson Street and end at Raymond Elementary on Palestine Street.  The chamber welcomes our local businesses, schools, bands, and organizations to participate.  If you would like an application and more information, please visit www.RaymondChamber.org or contact the chamber at 601-906-3006, email RaymondChamberofCommerce@gmail.com with questions.

    Attaché Fall Revue at Clinton High Set for Dec. 7-10

    America’s top show choir is holding its annual Fall Revue Dec. 7-10 in the Clinton High School Auditorium. Performances begin each evening at 7:30 p.m.

    “The Fall Revue will feature songs of many styles featuring old favorites, country, dance, and holiday,” says David Fehr, Attaché director. “In the second act, there’s a preview of the spring competition show.”

    In its 37th year, Attaché is composed of 46 singer/dancers, 15 pit members, and 20 crew members. Attaché is led by directors David and Mary Fehr, pit director Robert Allen, and crew director Deborah Morgan. Choreographers include April James, Stephen Todd, Dexter Bishop, Kellis McSparrin Oldenburg, and Harley McAlexander.

    Attaché has a long history of excellence in the show choir field and earned the number No. 1 ranking in the 2016 National Show Choir Rankings.

    Tickets are $9 to $10 and may be purchased at CHS from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 19 or 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday Nov. 28-Dec. 2and Dec. 5-9.
