Clinton Attaché Show Choir takes the stage for fall revue

    7:30 pm-9:00 pm

Clinton High’s nationally recognized Attaché Show Choir takes the stage for its annual Fall Revue Dec. 6-9 at Clinton High School’s auditorium. Performances begin each evening at 7:30.

The 38th Attaché Fall Revue will debut a preview of Attaché’s 2018 Competition Show – The Beatles. This will be a historic trip about the number one rock group of all time!

Also featured will be songs from the popular broadway musicals “Rent,” “Jersey Boys,” and “Grease.”

“We want the Fall Revue to honor the 19 years of Attaché summer musicals,” says Attaché Director David Fehr. “We have current Attaché alumni performing on Broadway, the Grand Ole Opry, Branson, Chicago, and choreographing and teaching all over the United States.”

Over the course of the WednesdayThursdayFriday and Saturday evening performances, the Attache’ Fall Revue will provide an opportunity for the Clinton community and families in the Jackson area to catch the show choir before they begin competition season in early 2018.

America’s premier show choir will compete at the South Central Classic in Homewood, Ala., the Petal Invitational in Petal, and Xtravaganza in Los Alamitos, California. Attaché will also once again serve as host of the Show Choir Nationals which is held annually at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.

Attaché has amassed one of the most impressive competition records of any other show choir in America. Since 1992, Attaché has won 74 Grand Champion titles and earned the number No. 1 spot in the 2017 and 2016 National Show Choir Rankings. During the Fehrs 25 years of leadership, the show choir has never lost a competition in Mississippi or the South.

“One of the reasons our program is so successful is because of our community, school district, and parents,” Fehr said. “Without their support, our program would not exist.”

Attaché is composed of 46 singer/dancers, 15 pit members, and 14 crew members. Attaché is led by directors David and Mary Fehr, pit director Robert Allen, and crew director Deborah Morgan. Choreographers include April James, Stephen Todd, Dexter Bishop, Kellis McSparrin Oldenburg, and Harley McAlexander. Allen ’98, James ’94, Bishop ’04, Oldenburg ’06, and McAlexander ’05 are Attaché alumni.

Tickets are $9 to $10 and may be purchased at CHS from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 18 or 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 27-Dec. 1 and Dec. 4-8. For more information or to reserve tickets, call the Attaché office at 601-924-0707.
