Immediately following the race, the 47th Annual Clinton Chamber Christmas Parade will begin Saturday, December 5, at 10 a.m. This year’s theme is “Rudolph Comes to Clinton.” All participants are encouraged to either depict the iconic holiday movie classic, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, or share their own treasured Clinton Christ- mas memories. All businesses, churches, organizations, pageant title holders, bands, etc. are invited to participate in the parade. Registrations received before Wednesday, November 25, will be $25 (three entities per application are allowed.) After that date, entry fees are $35.
The Clinton Christmas Parade will roll this year at 10 a.m. December 5, with precautionary measures and guidelines to keep participants and spectators safe for this annual outdoor event.
The route stretches from its start at Morrison Drive on Clinton Boulevard, on Clinton Boulevard until it turns into College Street, continuing to the other side of the Mississippi College campus, and finishing at Capitol and College street.
Yule Run Clinton, now in its third year, is a combined 5K walk/run and 8K run through Clinton’s historic Olde Towne and the Clinton Boulevard route of the parade. Presented by Continental, this year’s themed “Run, Run, Rudolph!” race starts at 7:30 a.m. Additionally, the Clinton Chamber is offering a virtual race option this year for those participants who would like to join the fun from a distance.
