On Thursday, March 11, at 11:00 a.m., the City of Clinton has chosen to honor Clintonians who have been recognized for achievements of excellence in their field at the local, state, or national level. These eleven individuals either grew up in Clinton or spent time in Clinton during the span of their achievement of excellence in their area of expertise.
The recipients include the following: Dr. Virgil Belue, Dr. Walter Howell, David and Mary Fehr, Rick Anderson, Guy Williams, Calvin Smith, Niesa Johnson, Jerod Ward, Randy Bell, and Brittany Wagner.
This event will be celebrated in an outdoor setting with the recipients, their families, and the Clinton community. A bronze plaque describing each honoree’s story will be unveiled on the one-mile Walk of Honorees Trail at the Quisenberry Library, located at 605 East Northside Drive.
The event will follow the CDC and State Health Department COVID-19 outdoor event regulations and guidelines.
