    Mississippi College's "Broadway on the Steps" - April 15th

    6:00 pm-9:00 pm

    Mississippi College’s biggest concert of the year is scheduled for April 15.

    The fifty-member MC Choctaw Chorus will team with thirty-five MC Singers to entertain audiences with Broadway show tunes.

    Music professor Mark Nabholz will conduct both groups performing on the steps in front of the B.C. Rogers Student Center. Titled “Broadway on the Steps,” the show will begin at 6 p.m. that Thursday evening.

    Olde Towne After Dark Trivia

    All local smarty pants are invited to form four-person teams to compete in general knowledge trivia for cash prize!

    Join us for our first OTAD of 2021 and come show off your knowledge of everything from pop culture and geography to sports and science.

    OTAD will be held on Thursday, April 15th at 303 Jefferson from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m.

    Teams are up to 4 players, and an entry fee of $10.00 per team is required to compete.

    Preregistration is required to attend.

    Youth tennis lessons-Brighton Park

    9:00 am-10:00 am

    Once again, the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department and the United States Tennis Association (USTA) will be partnering to provide youth tennis lessons for children at Brighton Park.

    Lessons will take place on Saturdays from March 27  through May 8 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m., with no  lessons on April 3. 

    USTA’s “Ready to Rally” and “Ready to Play”  tennis programs provide children the opportunity  to learn the game of tennis from certified tennis professionals in a fun and engaging environment. 

    Cost for the tennis lessons is $58. 

    The sessions will consist of basic demonstra tion and instruction of tennis techniques, as well  as game strategy and scoring. Loaner rackets will  be available.
