    City of Clinton Blood Drive, Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Brighton Park from 9am – 6 pm. Free t-shirts and door prizes for all who donate. All blood donations are credited to the City of Clinton.
    Please come and tell your family and friends. Our goal is 60 units of blood. Should the city reach 99 untis during the drive, mayor Fisher will be donating the 100th unit.

    Coffee with a Cop

    Clinton’s next Coffee With a Cop will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 at the Wood Activity Center, 111 Clinton Blvd. Chief Hayman and his officers will be in attendance to answer questions and fellowship with residents from 9:00 A.M. – 10:30 A.M.

    Police officers and community members to meet in a comfortable environment to discuss any topic-from crime to neighborhood nuisance issues. Over a cup of coffee, community members and police officers can get to know each other better in efforts to build relationships. Grab a coffee, pull up a chair, and let’s enjoy some conversation.

    Chief Ford Hayman upon his appointment as Police Chief, shared his plan to engage the community in a more direct manner and to build relationships between citizens and police officers. Unbeknownst to Hayman, two Clinton residents had been thinking along the same lines.

    Businesses that are interested in hosting a Coffee with a Cop event are invited to contact Chief Ford Hayman at (601) 924-5252.

    An evening with good food and a great movie makes for a wonderful family outing, and you could not find a better venue for an outdoor movie than the brick streets of Olde Towne Clinton! Movies are shown free of charge and dinner is offered from selected restaurants and food vendors around town. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates.
