Spring graduates will be welcomed back to the Clinton campus with a reception on Friday, July 31, that allows them to reconnect with their friends and favorite faculty members. On August 1, the college will recognize and honor the Class of 2020 with a formal commencement ceremony, complete with caps and gowns, speakers, and accolades.
“The members of the Class of 2020 missed out on MC traditions and special events they had been anticipating for four years, and were robbed of their chance to say a proper good-bye to the friends, faculty members, and university they love,” said Thompson. “I believe this commencement will be even more memorable given the forced separation our senior class experienced and the resilience they have shown.”
The college plans to be in touch with spring graduates over the coming weeks with further details about commencement plans.
