Reading Railroad

Olde Towne Depot, 281 E Leake St, Clinton, MS 39056, USA

Visit the Olde Town Depot on the first Tuesday of each month for a children’s reading at 3:30 p.m. Kids will enjoy a short train-themed book followed by a look at the Depot’s model train and other items on display. You might even catch a ride on Turner the Train!

Lessons will be held on January 7, 14, and 21 at 10:30AM.

Since the opening of the newly renovated pickleball courts at Kids’ Town Park, you can hardly drive by on weekends and not see someone enjoying a game of pickleball. Pickleball is an ever-growing sport that is designed to keep you moving at any age and stage of life. This low impact sport is a combination of elements from tennis, badminton, and ping pong. The game can be enjoyed by anyone who is willing to give it a try. We have created an indoor court at the Wood Activity Center so that we can teach our Living Young participants the rules of the game. These introductory lessons will have you well on your way to enjoying the game with friends at Kids’ Towne as well.

(Wood Activity Center) Are you ready to make some changes regarding your health? Well, we have the perfect opportunity to help you start the new year off right!

We will begin a Health Challenge on January 13th which will continue until February 10th.

To help kick off our Health Challenge, our sponsors from Home Care Hospice will provide us with an informational luncheon on healthy eating to get us on the right track for the year. There will also be a nurse there to get your baseline numbers so we can set personal goals for the challenge. If you would like to participate in our Health Challenge, please visit our office or give us a call to RSVP and reserve your spot at the informational luncheon. You do not have to attend the luncheon to participate in the challenge.
