Sat, Sep 10, 8 AM – Motion to Run is a 5k sponsored by Mississippi College School of Law supporting the Barack Obama Magnet School in Jackson, MS. As a Christian university, MC Law desires to embody the servant minded service referenced in Mark 10:45, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Specifically, our aim is to support scholars and teachers of the Jackson Public Schools. Motion to Run will serve as our “Big Event” through which we will raise funds to buy new technology for our friends at the Barack Obama Magnet School.
Purchase a meal or join friends under tents to kick-off our home season.
Join Choctaw fans from Birmingham, Covington, Memphis and the Hometown Crowd prior to the athletes’ traditional Choctaw Walk. Our marching band, cheerleaders and dance team lead in the pregame fun. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to learn how to be part.
