“This book hopes to honestly portray both the sins and miracles of the Deep South. Hopefully, these stories will also evoke compassion among those who do not share or relate to similar experiences.”
Amy Jones
Amy is halfway through her Master’s of Music at Mississippi College, where she received her B.M. with a minor in English in 2015. She began writing Prodigal in an undergraduate creative writing course. Since that time, her poetry received the MC Arrowhead’s first prize in 2013, 2014, and 2016.
Among other publications, her writing appears in Rising Phoenix Press Review, Wherewithal, Vagabond City, Lavender Review and Virtues of the Heart, an anthology of short stories from Clinton writers.
