Cathead Jam will be returning to Downtown Jackson for its fourth year on Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1. This two-day festival celebrates the ninth birthday of Cathead Distillery; Mississippi’s first legal distillery since Prohibition.
Cathead Jam is a unique festival experience held in a family-friendly atmosphere at Cathead Distillery in Downtown Jackson. This two-day event will feature a mind-blowing music lineup from nationally acclaimed touring acts, a wide selection of craft beers, specialty cocktails, and a diverse selection of food vendors. Cathead Jam 2018 welcomed thousands of attendees to Jackson from over 21 different states. This year’s festival is destined to be bigger and better in every way!
A limited number of “Just Trust Us” weekend passes and VIP weekend passes are on sale now at a reduced rate. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit catheadjam.com. Children 10 and under receive free admission.

Weekend music is held on every Saturday morning, except the third Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until noon and music every Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until 4 p.m.
The Friday Nights at Milepost 89 performance season is from March through October.
The Visitor Center is located at 1300 Pinehaven Road. To get there, take the Clinton exit at Milepost 89 on the Natchez Trace Parkway and turn left onto Pinehaven Road; or from I-20, take Exit 36 and turn north onto Springridge Road, which becomes Pinehaven Road. Online registration is now open for the Clinton Public School district’s 2019-2020 school year. Parents can register returning students via the Power-School parent portal by logging in and clicking the 2019-20 registration link on the left side of the page.
Parents with children who are new to the Clinton school district this fall should visit www.clintonpublicschools.com and click the 2019-20 New Student Registration button under the Announcements tab.
Registration for kindergarten students not pre-registered in the spring will be held on July 30. Registration for new students in grades K-9 is also set for July 30.
Clinton High School sophomore registration will be from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on August 1, and August 2 will see CHS junior registration from 8 until 11 a.m, and senior registration from 12:30 until 3:30 pm.
Registration for returning students in grades 1-9 will be August 6.
