Clinton Blues Trail marker unveiled

The Mississippi Blues Trail gained another marker – the first one in Clinton – on October 27, when a dedication ceremony honoring Clinton natives (clockwise, l to r) Sterling Plumpp, Jarekus Singleton and Eddie Cotton, Jr. The new marker, titled “From the Church to the Blues: A Clinton Legacy,” which honors the trio’s achievements in music and poetry, is located at 499 Clinton Tinnin Road.
