CHS students sign letters of intent for college sports

Clinton High School Class of 2023 graduate Baleigh Turner recently signed a letter of intent to join the cheer squad at Alabama A&M University. Turner was a three-year member of the CHS cheerleading squad and was also a member of the Sumner Hill Junior High School cheerleading squad during her freshman year. She’s a three-time UCA All American and was part of Clinton High School’s National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and Phi Theta Kappa. Turner also served as Senior Class Vice President for the CHS Student Council. She is the daughter of Erin and Marcus Turner.

James Howe, a recent graduate of Clinton High School, signed a letter of intent to play tennis at Hinds Community College. The four-year starter captained the Arrows’ tennis team his sophomore and junior seasons. He is the son of Kim Howe.
