New business gets City’s approval
By Randy Bell
Those who’ve been wondering what’s going into the new building that’s been constructed behind Clinton’s Waffle House now have their answer. Part of the structure near the Tractor Supply store at 484 Springridge Road will house a new day spa. The Board of Aldermen approved a conditional use for the property at its meeting October 3.
Vivian Nguyen, who’s been in the salon business in Clinton for eighteen years, says the services her Bloom X Beauty Lounge offers will have a “luxurious feel” – and it won’t be just nails, lashes and facials for women.
“We have a lot of men,” Nguyen says, with pedicures popular among her male customers.
The spa could be open for business before Christmas.
“We’re hoping, maybe, the middle of December,” Nguyen says. “If not, then the beginning of the year. That all depends on the build-out.”

I’ve been looking for you to open back up. I just have one question is Bob still doing nails.
