Canizaro Cawthon Davis recently announced the promotion of Kirk Oldenburg, AIA, to Principal, which the firm says is a testament to his leadership and contributions to innovative design and client satisfaction.

With over ten years of experience, the firm says that Oldenburg has successfully led numerous projects that align with clients’ visions, creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional; and his collaborative spirit and creative insights have enriched the firm’s portfolio while fostering a culture of teamwork and mentorship.

Oldenburg earned his Bachelor of Science in architectural engineering from the University of Southern Mississippi and his Master’s degree in architecture from Louisiana State University. Recently, he was elected secretary/treasurer of the Mississippi Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, where he is committed to enhancing member engagement and promotion of his profession.

Originally from Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Oldenburg now resides in Clinton with his wife Kellis and son Ryder. They are proud new members of Northside Baptist Church, they enjoy visiting their second home in New Orleans, and cherish quality time with family and friends.
