Living Young Mardi Gras trip available
The Wood Activity Center and Clinton’s Living Young program are partnering with the Pearl Senior Center to offer a Mardi Gras trip. Planned for Saturday, March 1, the road trip will take participants to the Red River Mardi Gras in Shreveport, Louisiana.
The trip will include a visit to Tubbs Cajun Gifts for some king cake and unique finds, followed by a private tent party with live Zydeco music, a Cajun buffet, and an exclusive parade viewing of the family-friendly “Krewe of Gemini.”
The trip cost is $195 per person and includes all transportation. Final trip payment is due by February 21. Checks should be made payable to Trek Travel.
A trip to the 48th annual Catfish Festival in the “Catfish Capital of the World,” Belzoni, Mississippi, is also open for registration. Planned for Saturday, April 5, the cost per person is $110 and final payment is due by March 7.
