Yarn bomb participation sought
Main Street Clinton is seeking donations of colorful knitted or crocheted materials for a decorative yarn bomb project on Jefferson Street.
A yarn bomb is a public art project that involves covering objects or structures in public spaces with decorative knitted or crocheted items.
Each year, Main Street Clinton organizes this event to coincide with the Caterpillar Parade and Spring into Clinton Market.
Those who wish to participate in this year’s yarn bomb are asked to create vibrant, colorful pieces or contribute scrap materials that can be utilized or decoration.
Donations can be dropped off at the Olde Towne Depot at 281 East Leake Street by Tuesday, April 1. Those who would like to assist with the installation of the yarn art during the first week of April are asked to contact Main Street Clinton at 601-924-5472 or MainStreetClinton@ClintonMS.org.
