Annual Eggstra Special event set for April 13
The Clinton Courier
Eggstra Special, one of Clinton’s long-time premiere family events, is a continued partnership between the Junior Auxiliary of Clinton and Clinton’s Parks and Recreation department.
Set for Sunday, April 13, from 2 until 4:30 p.m., this year’s event will again be held at Traceway Park and will provide an opportunity for the entire community to come together for a family-friendly egg hunt, special activities and a visit from the Easter Bunny himself.
The event is free, and egg hunts begin at 2:30 p.m. and are separated by age ranges. Zero to two-year-olds will hunt first at 2:30 p.m. Ages three and four will hunt at 2:45 p.m., ages five and six at 3 p.m., and the seven through nine-year-olds will hunt at 3:15 p.m. At 3:30 p.m., there will be a blindfolded egg hunt for children ages ten through twelve.
In addition to the egg hunts, children can enjoy prizes, games, bounce houses, photos with the Easter Bunny and golden egg prizes.
Traceway Park is located at 200 Soccer Row.
