Spring shopping hops into Olde Towne April 3-5

Hop to it, shoppers!
Main Street Clinton’s annual Easter Shop Hop bounds into Olde Towne Thursday, April 3, through Saturday, April 5, as at least fifteen participating merchants welcome shoppers with Easter eggs filled with discounts and prizes.
Clintonians can take advantage of this prime time to grab a tasty snack or meal at an Olde Town eatery, find a lovely new Easter outfit or accessory, get discounts for an Easter makeover or snap up some goodies to fill the family’s Easter baskets.
On Saturday, April 5, round up the kids and jump at the chance for photos with Mr. and Mrs. Bunny, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Developed in 2021 as a promotion to draw attention and attract new customers to the many merchants of Olde Towne, the free event builds on the breezy spring weather and the family fun of holiday preparations.
“The Hop has grown alongside the growth of merchants in Olde Towne,” Main Street Clinton Assistant Events Coordinator Kim Smith said. “We have more participating merchants this year than ever before.”
Easter Shop Hop participants include gift shops, clothing stores, vendor markets, restaurants, sweet shops, grab and go/catering and salons — a real variety that bodes well for multiple visits to Olde Towne over the long weekend.
For 2025, the businesses include Panoply, Art and Craft Market, As You Wish, Catering by Cathy, Coach’s Creamery, Krilakis, Jillian’s Salon and Boutique, The Vault Salon, Meme’s Brick Street Bakery, The Spring Nutrition, The Bank by Pizza Shack, The Cupboard, The Preppy Peddler, 303 Jefferson and Lovely.
In addition to the Easter Egg giveaways, many of the participating shops get into the spirit of Easter with colorful clothing options, spring gift offerings and festive decorations, Smith said. So, put on some pretty pastels and hop to it, all you buying bunnies with an eye for beauty and bargains!
