Linton awarded inaugural NFHS Music Educator Award

Clinton Junior High School choral teacher Erin Linton was recently recognized by the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) as the recipient of the inaugural National Federation of State High School Associations Middle School Educator of the Year.
During MHSAA’s February executive board meeting, Linton was presented with an Outstanding Music Educator Award by MHSAA Executive Director Rickey Neaves.
Linton’s award placed her as the top middle school music educator in the National Federation of High School’s section three, consisting of eight states: Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and North Carolina.
