The Happy Gardeners Club of Clinton is inviting community members to attend its upcoming spring meeting. This event is scheduled for Monday, March 30, at the Quisenberry Library, and will begin at 10 a.m.
The meeting will feature Shaun Broderick, associate extension and research professor at Mississippi State University, as the guest speaker. Dr. Broderick will introduce attendees to exciting new plants for local gardens.
Broderick is recognized for his research in plant production, genetics and breeding projects. The plants he develops undergo thorough testing to ensure superior performance in the region’s growing conditions, making them excellent choices for local gardeners.
The Happy Gardeners Club encourages community members to join this event for inspiration and valuable information as the spring planting season commences. If interested in attending or for further information, contact Program Chair Paula Wimbish at pgwimbish5@gmail.com.
