Plans being made for annual 39056 Fair

The Clinton Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Clinton and the City of Clinton will once again hold their annual 39056 Fair for new and returning Mississippi Christian University students. This year’s event is scheduled for Thursday, August 13, from 3:30 until 5 p.m. and takes place during MC’s Welcome Week.

The 39056 Fair offers local businesses, organizations and churches an opportunity to connect with MC students by hosting a booth and sharing information about their products, services and organization, introducing the students to everything the city has to offer. Participating organizations are encouraged to offer giveaways, games, coupons and activities for the students’ engagement.

Registered organizations can set up a booth in MC’s Alumni Hall beginning at 2 p.m. that Thursday.

The event is free for Clinton Chamber and Main Street Clinton businesses with the donation of a $25 or greater door prize. Non-member cost for a booth is $100 plus the donation of a $25 or greater door prize. The door prize can be an item/service/gift card from the participating business or from another local business. Door prizes must be delivered to the Chamber office by Friday, August 7.
