CHS alumni luncheon draws record crowd

Clinton High School alumni representing classes from 1952 to 2012 gathered on Friday, June 5. Former long-time faculty member Mrs. Mittie Kay Smith joined the group, which included many of her former students.
Bob Turcotte (CHS ’52), Jean Grogan Ramsey (CHS ’52) and Roger Alford (CHS ’53) anchored the senior attendees, while Brittany Wanker Powell (CHS ’12) was the most recent Arrow alum.
Select members of the 60’s era Arrowette basketball team on hand included Judy Thompson Hand (CHS ’62), Beth Johnson Prest (CHS ’63), Linda Jo Jones Mohon (’64) and Joanne Ratcliff Clark (’64).
The next alumni luncheon will be held on Friday, September 11, at Cock of the Walk on Highway 49 at 11 a.m. All class years are invited. Interested alum are encouraged to call or text Amylou Douglas at 601-954-4232 to confirm attendance. This will be the last alumni luncheon for 2026. The first luncheon of 2027 will be on Friday, March 5, 2027, at the same time and location.
