An Evening of Red, White, and Blues
Gates open at 4:00 P.M., and festivities begin at 5:00 P.M.
Clinton residents are invited to celebrate Independence Day with an evening of Red, White and Blues at the Annual Independence Day Family Fireworks Extravaganza presented by Continental on Sunday, July 4.
This year’s event will feature two of Clinton’s own, Eddie Cotton and Jarekus Singleton. Both performers are well known across the country for their hard hitting, deep driving blues lyrics and tunes.
Both musicians grew up honing their skills in local Church of God in Christ. Cotton in the historic Sarah Dickey Neighborhood where his father was pastor. Singleton in Jackson at the church his grandfather pastored. While the church brought them together, their shared love of the blues and music forged a bond that remains today.
The City of Clinton’s official July Fourth Celebration is presented by Continental Tire. The event is FREE. Parking is $10 per car.
