BANKPLUS NAMED ONE OF THE BEST BANKS TO WORK FOR AGAIN IN 2017

For the fifth consecutive year, BankPlus is again being recognized as one of the Best Banks to Work For in 2017. Banks ranked by American Banker showcase unique employee benefits, strong cultures and meaningful community involvement.

 

The program, which was initiated in 2013 to identify, recognize and honor the best banks to work for in the nation, is a project of American Banker and Best Companies Group. To be considered for participation, banks had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements: have at least 50 employees working in the U.S., and be a commercial bank, thrift, mutual association, mutual savings bank, savings and loan association or a savings bank.

 

To determine the top-ranked banks for 2017, American Banker evaluated BankPlus with a two-step process. The first step consisted of evaluating the bank’s workplace policies, practices and demographics. The second part consisted of surveying the entire BankPlus workforce in order to gauge strength as a company in categories such as leadership, planning, corporate culture, communication, work environment, compensation, benefits and more.
