Big Home Game for Brilla and the Clinton Community

Saturday, June 16 will be another home match for Mississippi Brilla FC, but it won’t be just any home match. Brilla and the entire Clinton community will be in the spotlight, and we need your help to make the evening a success!

A French documentary team will be in Clinton on June 16-17 preparing a worldwide prime time documentary program entitled “In Soccer We Trust.” The film is about the explosion of soccer in the United States, and particularly the formation of young players in the American system. They have chosen Mississippi Brilla FC as one of the clubs to highlight in the film, and will also focus on one of our European born players, Bastien Oberli, as a young man now in the United States’ system of soccer.

The documentary team will begin filming the team at their pre-game meal on Saturday, June 16 at 3:00 pm. The film team will stay with the team throughout the rest of the day, journaling the game day events leading up to and through the 7 pm match at CHS Arrow Stadium.

We believe this is a tremendous honor and opportunity for Brilla and the entire Clinton community. So, we need your help in putting our best foot forward for this documentary. Most importantly, we need a huge crowd at Saturday’s match. As extra incentive, we are offering a Father’s Day Special! Come be a part of the excitement on Saturday evening at 7 pm at CHS Arrow Stadium.
