Lady Eagle Softball Set to Host 2nd Annual Fall League

The Hinds Lady Eagle Softball program will host their second annual High School Fall League open to grades 8-12. This camp will be open to the first 48 players who register.

The Fall League will begin on Monday, October 22, 2018 with a pro-style showcase where the players will partake in an evaluation process in front the entire Hinds coaching staff. Areas that will be measured include hitting exit velocity, throwing velocity from your positions, and home to first speed. Additionally, pitchers will be asked to throw in front of our collegiate pitching coach, and all players will hit BP for our hitting instructors. The coaching staff will use the information from the showcase to assemble 4 teams of 12 players per team.

Games will begin on the Monday, October 29 and will be held every Monday and Thursday for the next three weeks at Renee T. Warren Field on the Raymond Campus of Hinds.

Each team will play 6 games.

As in 2017 Fall League, each camp day a designated team will be asked to arrive an hour before the game to receive instruction from our coaching staff on areas such as hitting, defense and base-running.

The cost of the camp is $120 per player. This cost includes a T-Shirt, the pro-style showcase, and the six game fall league.

This camp is a great opportunity to receive collegiate instruction, improve as a player, and receive exposure from the entire coaching staff at Hinds as well as other colleges in the area.

Below are the links to the Fall League Flyer, Registration form and Waiver. To ensure your spot at our camp please fill out the forms and mail it along with your payment prior to Monday, October 8.
