Clinton Quisenberry Library Summer Reading Program Concludes

The Clinton Quisenberry Library Summer Reading Program (SRP) is in full swing, but readers who want to register to take part in Summer Reading may still do so.

Organizers say participating in SRP keeps reading skills sharp during school’s summer break and helps keep adults focused on the importance of reading for themselves and their families.

To further encourage participation in SRP, the Jackson Hinds Library System will be off ering a large variety of incentive prizes, which library officials say have been generously provided many donors. At the end of SRP, all registered participants will receive a “thank-you” bag of food coupons, pens, pencils, notepads, and much more.

“We encourage all participants to turn in their completed reading logs on July 6,” said Jackson Hinds Library System Executive Director Patty Furr. “Everyone who turns in their reading log will be entered into prize drawings for such as cinema tickets, various museum passes, back packs, restaurant gift cards, etc. The top readers in categories from kids to adult will win bicycles or Kindle Fires.”

The Summer Reading Program at the Quisenberry Library concludes on July 11, but reading logs are due by July 6. For more information, call 601-924-5684
