Clinton Park Pre-K program registration to begin in April

Clinton Park’s Pre-K program will open registration for its third year beginning in April.

Applications will be available in the front office at Clinton Park Elementary School beginning April 1 and are due back by April 17.

Parents whose students who will be four years old by Sept. 1, 2020 are encouraged to apply for the program.

To apply, applicants are required to provide a birth certificate, 121 immunization form, Social Security card, parent identification and two proofs of residency.

Proofs of residency must include a copy of a lease, deed or mortgage statement. Applicants are also asked to provide a second proof of residency such as a current water, gas or electric bill.

Students who meet the registration deadline and admission requirements will be contacted to schedule a time for the screening assessment at Clinton Park Elementary School.

All assessments will be completed by June 1, 2020.

Once all assessments have been completed, those deemed most in need of preschool services will be selected for the program.

All families will be notified if selected or not for the program.

Students not selected will be placed on a waiting list and will be contacted during the 2020-2021 school year if an opening becomes available.

Completed applications and required documentation are to be returned by 3:00 P.M. on April 17, 2020.
