CPSD moves lunch distribution to three days a week

Beginning Monday, March 30, the Clinton Public School District will change its lunch distribution schedule from five days a week to three days a week.

Lunches will now be handed out Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Northside/Eastside campus from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.

Parents will be allowed to pick up two lunches per child to cover the days the lunch line will not be open.

CPSD’s Superintendent Dr. Tim Martin said, “We appreciate the commitment of our Child Nutrition Department meeting the needs of our community through this program.”

Close to 300 lunches per day have been handed out since March 23.

Lunches are available to all CPSD students and include a sandwich, fruit or fruit cup, chips and milk.
