Fresh at Five back in Olde Towne on June 2

Main Street Clinton recently announced that Fresh at Five, the open air farmers’ market and anticipated summer event, will be back. Tuesday, June 2 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., some of the community’s favorite local growers and producers will line Jefferson Street with produce and prepared goods fresh from their farms.

“We are delighted to kick off this market season on schedule with many of our regular vendors ready to participate!” said Main Street Clinton Director Tara Lytal.

For many, a summertime Tuesday afternoon in Olde Towne is more than an opportunity to pick up produce at the market that began more than a decade ago. Fresh at Five is a weekly gathering that brings the community together to swap recipes and be entertained with live music and activities for children.

This season will begin without some of these experiences and with precautions in place to provide a safe environment for vendors and shoppers alike. Shoppers are asked to come into the market area prepared to gather items and conduct transactions in a safe and timely manner.
