RAYMOND – The Hinds Community College football program enjoyed a successful National Signing Day as they welcomed new talent for the 2021 season.
With 16 signees, the Eagles look to build on their 2020 success, as they went 3-1, finishing second place in the South Division of the Mississippi Association of Community College Conference (MACCC).
2021 Signing Day Recap
The Eagles will return nine starters on defense and seven on offense. The 16 additions will add the depth needed to be competitive in the MACCC.

Head coach Larry Williams was happy with the results from signing day.
“I thought it (signing day) went very well. We addressed important needs, and I thought the coaches did a very good job going out and recruiting those players,” Williams said.
The 2020 signing class was focused on building a new team, while the 2021 class was focused on position needs. “With this class, we just wanted to address a few needs at specific positions, and we accomplished that today,” said Chris Mattox, running backs coach and recruiting coordinator.
