The Arrows Are Back In The State Title Game After 19 Years

Clinton, Mississippi – The Arrows are back in the state title game for the first time in 19 years and are looking to lift the prestigious golden ball as they seek their first state title since 1993. The Arrows will compete in the 6A MHSAA Basketball State Championship against Starkville High School this Saturday at 7:00 pm after a tough, hard-fought victory against Harrison Central (59-53) on Wednesday.

Kimani Hamilton finished with a game-high 22 points to lead the Arrows to victory and secure their spot in the state title game. 

Starkville comes into the 6A State Championship game with a 19-2 overall record after defeating Oak Grove 64-51 to stamp their spot in the state title game. Starkville and Clinton met earlier this season where Clinton won 68-60 in a fight to the wire. The Arrows are currently 20-1 on the season and look to finish off their season in the best way possible by being crowned State Champions. 

The Arrows and Yellow Jackets will tip-off at 7:00 pm on Saturday (March 6th). All of the MHSAA Basketball Championships will be televised locally and also live-streamed on the NFHS Network at
