City of Clinton Election Results – Republican primary

Thanks to everyone that voted today!  Your vote matters.

The Clinton Courier had poll watchers at each of the six ward sites to monitor the results.

For wards that had more than two candidates, there could be a potential for a runoff.  The runoff election would be held on April 27, 2021.   Again, the polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m..

    How is it that there is no Republican candidate running in ward 6? It strikes me as big time political maneuvering for the incumbent to drop out leaving the democrat unopposed.

      Hey, I responded once thinking this was about ward 1. Ward 6 never had a republican quality. Nobody dropped out.
