Join together five people with over 200 years of experience playing music and you get Slightly Tarnished. Everyone in the band started playing music back in the sixties and say they love it today more than ever. They play a mix of Americana, folk, folk rock, traditional country and some Southern gospel.
The band members are Robert Ferren, guitar and vocals; Debra (Nan) Hydrick, vocals; Marijane Whitfield, keyboard and vocals; Ed Tucker, guitar and vocals; and Phillip Till, guitar, banjo and vocals. The band believes it is important to carry on American music history.
Weather permitting, the music will be performed in an outdoor setting at the Visitor Center. The outdoor event will follow the CDC and the State Health Department COVID-19 outdoor event regulations and guidelines. Attendees are asked to wear face masks and adapt to social distancing measures.
The Visitor Center is located at 1300 Pinehaven Road. For more music details call 601-924-2221
