The “Off the Rails” July summer camp will be offered this year at the Olde Towne Depot.
Targeted at students that have just completed second, third and fourth grades, Off the Rails will take students on a wild ride around the world learning about transportation, history and other cultures. Students will participate in group challenges, complete art projects, and have lots of fun. Projects are exploratory and require both critical and creative thinking. Students will work individually and in groups.
The camp will be held at the Olde Towne Depot Monday through Thursday, July 19 – 22 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. The cost for the camp is $75 per child and will include all materials needed. Students can expect an interactive camp experience.
“This is easily one of my very favorite events at the Depot. We have such a fun time learning, exploring our community, and discovering interesting cultures abroad. The hands-on activities, building and art projects, and guest speakers make Off the Rails such a great summer experience for students,” says Depot Director Anna Boyd Hawks.
Spaces are limited for the camp. Registration can be completed at oldetownedepot.com/OffTheRails or by calling the Olde Towne Depot at 601-924-0113.
