Clinton Arrows Swim Team compete at the GRIT pool
The Clinton Arrows Swim Team competed against Madison Central, Germantown, and Ridgeland High Schools on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the GRIT pool in Flowood. This was a great qualifying meet in which more Clinton athletes achieved times that qualified them to compete at the North Half State Meet to be held in mid-October. Swimmers have two more meets to achieve those qualifying swim times: Saturday, September 25 and October 9. Athletes placing in the top 3 in their event Saturday are as follows:
Boys 200 yard medley relay – 2nd place – Andy Guan, Colin Guan, Carson Dowd, and Porter Cronin
Boys 200 yard freestyle – 3rd place – Andy Guan
Boys 50 yard freestyle – 2nd place – Porter Cronin
Boys 100 yard butterfly – 2nd place – Carson Dowd
Boys 100 yard freestyle – 2nd place – Colin Guan
Boys 200 yard freestyle relay – 3rd place – Andy Guan, Toby Gilbert, Caleb Swann, and Cody Swann
Boys 100 yard backstroke – 3rd place – Carson Dowd
Boys 100 yard breaststroke – 2nd place – Colin Guan
Boys 400 yard freestyle relay – 2nd place – Porter Cronin, Cody Swann, Carson Dowd, and Colin Guan
