Northside students enjoy rodeo fun
Northside Elementary School third graders recently dressed for the rodeo and had a fun day of learning. Math classes participated in a rodeo “round-up,” and teachers implemented some fun activities to reinforce the week’s lesson on rounding numbers.
English classes had fun with a reading rodeo. Students answered comprehensive questions on Pecos Bill and Sally Anne Thunder, made sheriff badges when they answered questions correctly, and enjoyed line dancing and the cactus ring toss.
