Haunting of Olde Towne moving to Lion’s Club Park

Special to The Clinton Courier

HOOTNew in 2021, the Haunting of Olde Towne (H.O.O.T.) will move to Lion’s Club Park for all of its creepy, crawly and fun festivities. The Haunting of Old Towne will be held on Thursday, October 28, from 6 to 8 pm.

Returning to the event are the usual crowd favorites, such as cake walks, costume contests for kids sixteen and under, and carnival style games. In addition, bounce houses and other interactive games will be available for H.O.O.T. attendees. Turner the Train will be providing rides throughout the night, leaving from the Train Depot starting at 6 p.m.

As always, there will be lots of candy and toys for everyone participating in the games, and age-appropriate prizes will be given to contest winners. The cost for the event is $2 per person.

The entrance to the event will be at the corner of East Street and East Leake Street. East Leake Street will be closed from East Street to the railroad tracks beginning at 3 p.m. on October 28.
