Shop paper advertisers for a chance to win up to $250

The Clinton Courier

The Clinton Courier is encouraging Clintonians to support their local small businesses this holiday season.

With the annual Small Business Saturday set for November 27, the Courier will use this date as a time to push a “shop local” mission with a contest for readers to potentially win a purchase refund of up to $250.

Readers are asked to “Shop Local” as much as possible on November 27 and enter to win. Entry boxes will be set up at each participating Clinton Courier advertiser. When a reader shops or spends money with that local advertiser, they can drop their receipt and entry form into the box for a chance to have The Clinton Courier reimburse them for their purchase.

Tod Dorbeck, owner of Fox’s Pizza in Clinton, says he is looking forward to Small Business Saturday.

“I have loved watching how Clinton’s local paper always looks for ways to support the local businesses,” said Dorbeck. “It is a great value add being in a town with a strong local paper!”

Participating advertisers include The Cupboard, Wilson Tire, CKarats, Cups, Froghead Grill, Fox’s Pizza, Rapid Tire, Revell Ace Hardware, Salsa’s, The Cupboard, Lyla Grace Children’s Consignment, Taylor Tire and Auto, Tips ‘n Toes and Wilson Tire.

“This is the beginning of our busy season,” said Heather Braodwater of The Cupboard. “We always look forward to Small Business Saturday and appreciate the role The Clinton Courier has in this.”
