Three Clinton All-American cheerleaders perform in Disney parade
Special to The Clinton Courier
Hattie Heindl, Emma Hughes and AnnaBelle Mansell from Clinton Junior High School joined select junior high and high school cheerleaders from across the country to represent Varsity Spirit in the 2021 Thanksgiving Parade at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Heindl, Hughes and Mansell performed as part of a select group of cheerleaders chosen as All-Americans during Varsity Spirit summer camps across the country. All-Americans are selected via tryout based on superior cheerleading skills at camps operated by Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) and National Cheerleaders Association (NCA). Only the top ten percent of the cheerleaders from Varsity Spirit camps earn the chance to march in a holiday parade of this caliber.
The three performed with the Varsity Spirit All-Americans in a one-of-a-kind performance through Disney’s Magic Kingdom® Park on during Thanksgiving Day. Besides enjoying a sunny trip to Orlando, All-Americans had the opportunity to meet cheerleaders from across the nation and enjoy a magical holiday season at Walt Disney World® Resort parks.
