Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) recently announced its football all-conference teams. Jeremy Mack Jr. of East Mississippi Community College and Carsson DeYoung of Hinds Community College both earned all-conference honors. The two players are both graduates of Clinton High School.
Mack was a First Team All-North selection at defensive back. The freshman tallied 40.0 tackles, 2.5
tackles for loss, a sack, and a fumble recovery in his first season in Scooba. He also intercepted four passes and tallied two pass breakups.
DeYoung was a Second Team All-South selection. The freshman tight end had four catches for twenty-five yards and played a big part in Hinds having one of the most potent ground attacks in the state. As a team, the Eagles rushed for 1,959 yards and led the nation with thirty-five rushing touchdowns this season.
