The Clinton Christian Academy (CCA) Lady Warriors varsity basketball team had a great year.

The ladies were MAIS 4A District Champs, South State Champs, and advanced to the MAIS Overall Tournament, which combines the top three teams in the state from each division. This is the third year in a row they have made it to the Overall Tournament.

School officials say this year’s team has continued a tradition of success for the Lady Warriors’ basketball program. Over the past three years, the CCA girls have won three District championships, two South State championships and a State championship.

Five girls were named to the All-District Tournament team: Anne Maree Crechale, Adurey Bryson, Jada Brooks, Abbey Abraham and Ramsey Evans.

The girls team is coached by Josh Zeitz, assisted by Marcus Washington.
