Brick Street Players to present Romeo and Juliet

The re-booted Brick Street Players will present their inaugural production Romeo and Juliet on May 11-15 outdoors in Olde Towne Clinton at the intersection of West Leake and Jefferson Streets. The May 11-14 performances will begin at 6 p.m., with the May 15 show starting at 2:30 p.m.

Admission is free, but audience members are asked to bring their own chairs.

The cast includes Faith Baldree, Juliet (double-cast); Allie Bennett, Lady Capulet (double-cast); Cade Campbell, Mercutio; Ashia Crump, Balthasar; Noah Eatmon, Paris; Bradley Freeny, Lord Capulet; Benjamin Gibson: Tybalt/Page; Mark Gibson, Friar Lawrence; Jim Goode, Lord Montague; Sarah Hankins, Nurse; Tabitha Hewitt-Rafferty, Benvolio; Kat Hobson, Server/Watchman; Kenya Rafferty, Gregory/Head Watchman; Devin Ranftle, Sampson/Peter/Friar John; Lauren Rehers, Abram; Sarah Rhodes, Juliet (double cast); Beth Russo, Prince; Micah Shepherd, Romeo; Alison Stafford, Lady Capulet (double-cast); and Dena Thornburg, Lady Montague/Apothecary. Clay Kirkland is directing, with Alison Stafford and Allie Bennett as stage combat choreographers. Amy Evans serves as rehearsal assistant.
