Clinton Students Participate in Broadway Junior Theatre Camp 2022

Children of Eden Jr.New Stage Theatre announces its Broadway Jr Theatre Camp Intensive for rising 6th grade to graduating seniors. The New Stage Theatre Arts in Education department strives to bring professional, progressive acting instruction to youth throughout Mississippi with its summer camps, yearlong acting classes, and touring workshops. The Broadway Jr Theatre Camp Intensives serves as an upbeat, musical theatre experience for first timers and long-time theatre students ages 11-18.

 

From June 20 to July 17, 2022, the students will have four weeks of theatre instruction taught by seasoned theatre veterans. Students will be introduced to all the elements of theatre production in daily classes. The culmination of the camp will be a fully-produced Broadway Junior musical presented for four performances on New Stage’s main stage. Camp participants will also receive instruction in acting, improvisation, stage movement, musical theatre, dance, voice and diction, and auditioning. The camp will culminate with Children of Eden, Jr. July 14-16 at 7 p.m. and July 17 at 2 p.m.
