The Clinton Courier
The Clinton Therapeutic Recreation Department’s Living Young group will be visiting Louisiana for the Mardi Gras holiday on Saturday, February 11. The 2023 trip to Shreveport-Bossier City will be the city’s seventeenth annual Red River Mardi Gras Bash.

Before the parade, the group will have time to shop at Tubbs Cajun Gifts and Hardware Store, a one-of-a-kind hardware store that has shelves stocked with Mardi Gras gifts, Cajun seasonings, sauces, cookbooks and cast iron cookware.Shoppers can enjoy complimentary king cake and smoked BBQ chicken.
Each attendee will receive a T-shirt, access to the tent party, lunch buffet and VIP parade seating. The group will depart Clinton at 8:30 a.m. from 200 Soccer Row.
