Chamber celebrates with new Gala event

The Clinton Chamber of Commerce recently held its first Clinton Chamber Gala, a reinvention of the annual Chamber Celebration. This year’s event was held at The Reed House at Live Oaks Golf Club and included food, a full cash bar, music, a silent auction and cocktail attire.

The Chamber and Main Street Clinton both presented their annual awards at the event.

Named 2023 Chamber Large Business of the Year was Continental, and 2023 Small Business of the Year was Premier Foot Clinic, PC. George Ewing was honored as Outstanding Citizen of the Year, Melissa Robbins was recognized as Ambassador of the Year, and Allison Reno of Meme’s Brick Street Bakery was given the Distinguished Service Award. The 2023 President’s Award was given to Nathan Cummins.

Main Street Clinton recognized SouthGroup Insurance Services as Boulevard Business of the year and The Bank by Pizza Shack as Olde Towne Business of the Year. Allie Bennett was honored as Main Street Clinton Volunteer of the Year.
