DYW Markham visits Northside Elementary

 

Hinds County’s Distinguished Young Woman for 2024, Emma Grace Markam, recently visited classrooms at Northside Elementary School to read her favorite book to the second graders. Markham, a junior at Clinton High School, competed against other young ladies from Hinds County in the areas of scholastics, interview, talent, self-expression and fitness. She will compete at the state level this summer for the opportunity to win scholarship money.
