Sumner Hill choirs earn high marks at State Performance Assessment

The choirs of Sumner Hill Junior High School, the Clinton Public School District’s ninth-grade school, recently participated in the State Performance Assessment at Pearl High School. The Mixed Choir, which includes twenty-eight students, and the Treble Choir, which includes fifty-one students split between two classes, both received all superior ratings. The Mixed Ensemble, a homeroom ensemble of twenty-four students, received high excellent ratings. The choirs are under the direction of Sam Lovorn.
